Gualberto ‘Gil’ Medina, Solix’ Chairman of the Board, has been named to this year’s NJBIZ Power 50 Accounting List – a lineup compiled by industry experts and the business journal’s editorial board to recognize “the most influential people in the profession New Jersey businesses count on for guidance during good times and bad.”
Medina was cited by NJBIZ for his extensive service over the years to the State of New Jersey as Commerce Commissioner, leading the state’s international trade and investment promotion strategies, and recent work on the facilities and construction subcommittee of Governor Phil Murphy’s Restart and Recovery Advisory Council, which centered on the state’s COVID economic recovery. The publication added, “He is a trusted voice in the Garden State commercial real estate industry and the business community as a whole.”
This past May, Solix was named recipient of the Private Company Board of the Year Award by the National Association of Corporate Directors’ New Jersey Chapter (NACDNJ). The award, which Medina accepted on behalf of Solix, honors exemplary Board leadership and is presented annually to a private company, a public company, and a non-profit in the State of New Jersey.
