Solix, Inc., a leading provider of government and commercial outsourcing and consulting solutions, today announced it has named Eric Seguin as President and Chief Operating Officer. This move is part of the Company’s planned succession efforts as Jack Miller, the current Chief Executive Officer, will be retiring at the end of 2023 after 22 years with the Company.

“I am thrilled that Eric has been chosen as the next leader of Solix! I have worked with him for most of my 22 years with the Company and there is nobody better suited to lead the Company during its next phase of growth,” said Miller. “He knows the business, our clients, and our people, and has the complete trust and support of the entire organization.”

Eric has been with the Company for more than 28 years serving in a variety of capacities including client relations, business development, operations management, government relations, and strategy development and execution. His work experience outside of Solix includes serving as the Chief of Economic Policy at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission with responsibility for regulatory oversight of the state telecommunications market. During his tenure in Oklahoma, Eric was appointed as a staff member of the Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service. Eric also served in the New Jersey Army National Guard as an Armor Officer and was honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant.

Mr. Seguin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rutgers University, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from St. Leo University, and an MBA in Finance from The College of William & Mary. He has completed Executive Education in Leadership at Harvard University, and he earned a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University. His community involvement includes serving on the Foundation Board at the County College of Morris and the Board of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. Eric has also served on the Board of the Tri-County Scholarship Fund, the National Advisory Committee of Everyone On, the Economic Development Committee of Choose NJ, the Economic Development Committee of Parsippany Township, and the Steering Committee of the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority.

Solix Chairman Gil Medina is also excited about this transition. “The Solix Board has worked on a succession plan for some time now and we considered all options. It became increasingly clear that we had the best candidate right in front of us. Eric has been an integral part of all operational and strategic planning initiatives for years, and he has shown a tremendous ability to excel with each step of increasing responsibility. Eric has the full support of the entire Board.”

Medina also thanked Jack Miller for his leadership over the past 10 years. “Jack has successfully led Solix through some very challenging times. On behalf of the entire Board, I want to thank him for his stewardship and wish him all the best in retirement!”
